"Taking classes with PrairieDawgs Agility has been a very fun and rewarding experience. Trish & Dan get five stars from me for welcoming participants of all shapes, sizes, and breeds while being conscientious of everyone’s safety, and also for how they approach their training with patience, kindness, and positive encouragement – for the dogs and the humans! Hazel gets very excited to go to agility class, and it’s amazing to see the skills and confidence she has developed throughout the levels."

"Wow! Was not sure about taking both our dogs to agility but absolutely the best decision for both of them. They have both grown in their independence of each other and their self confidence around other dogs. Thank you Trish and Dan for providing such a welcoming, educational fun learning environment. You provide such positive, encouraging, feedback to both the dogs and owners. Our dogs are excited every time we come. Keep up the great work!"

"We go for fun, bonding and physical activity. I recommend you to everyone and the best part is you teach a variety of dog breeds which is very encouraging!! I remember when I contacted you 1 1/2 year ago for basic dog obedience and you suggested trying agility, what a great idea that was. Joey has come leaps and bounds from our first set of classes, I keep coming back because you both make it our weekly highlight!! Thanks for all your patience with training Joey and more importantly me "

"Jett, my 4 year old Pug/ Boston Terrier, has benefited from Agility classes through Prairie Dawgs in many ways. He loves the trainers (instructors) he has learned patience and follows through in more manoeuvres since he began. He knows when we are approaching the area, as Jett goes on alert and starts barking and shaking with excitement. Who knew that he would love learning agility. The people at Prairie Dawgs care about your dog and welcomes you, experience or not! I was just looking for a new experience for Jett and it has turned into much more. One day he may be ready to participate in an agility trail but for now Jett is learning so much and so am I."

"Prairie Dawgs Agility has become my dog’s ultimate happy place! We began in beginner classes with no prior experience, and two years later we still eagerly look forward to every session. Beyond the immense progress we’ve made on agility obstacles, the bond we’ve built has deeply enriched our everyday life.
Dan and Trish have created a truly special environment fueled by their love of agility and happy dogs. Their expertise, professionalism, and positive approach make training at Prairie Dawgs a joy for both dog and owner."

"Prairie Dawgs Agility offers a very positive and supportive learning environment. I’ve appreciated Trish and Dan’s instructions and feedback. As a new to agility handler, I’ve had to learn quite a bit about the sport. My dog, Fiona, is also quite active. Agility classes have been a great way to burn off some of her energy. Fiona’s becoming a more enjoyable pet as we both learn to listen to each other. She loves going and is so excited when she realizes she’s going to class. I definitely recommend taking classes from Prairie Dawgs!"

"In 2024, I wanted to try agility with my Australian Shepherd. I was hesitant because he was diagnosed with epilepsy so I knew we would need a supportive environment that focuses on relationship building of handler and dog (no team sports). Then I was recommended Prairie Dawgs - and it was exactly what I needed for my dog (and me). Their approach is to have fun with your dog - make memories, learn new things, and simply enjoy. Each trainer I’ve worked with has been excellent at guiding each dog for what works best and celebrating the wins with you. My dog has been setup for success since day 1, and I can’t wait to continue the training and hopefully compete. I recommend Prairie Dawgs to anyone!"

"If you want a safe, fun, positive experience, then PrairieDawgs is your place. Trish and Dan are a great organized team, who team the love of agility through their calm, encouraging, expert guidance. My anxious daughter and our dog look forward to their classes every week. My daughter's anxiety disappears and you see her joy training her dog, under their watchful and non-judgmental eyes. They meet their students human and canine (lol) where they are and help them grow and learn together in a fun environment. We have met a lot of great people and their dogs. My daughter is so happy out there training with them. We highly recommend Trish and Dan to anyone that wants to train agility in a positive way, since they always make you feel glad you came to class."

“Stevie Nix joined Prairie Dawgs Agility in the fall of 2024 and absolutely loved it!! Since then she has completed levels 1-3. We drive an hour and a half from Biggar each week, but the quality of the program is so worth it!!
Trish and Dan are accommodating, knowledgeable, and supportive. They take time to get to know each dog and what works best for their success and comfort in the programs. We appreciate this kind of opportunity in the community."
