About Agility
About Dog Agility & Our Classes….
What is Agility?
-Agility is a fun sport that the handler and dog communicate together and the dog navigates obstacles. There are many different types of obstacles the dog can learn to perform correctly and safely - jumps, tunnels, A-frame, hoops, Teeter, Dog Walk, weave poles, barrels and more.
There are different organizations that you can compete in agility with and there are even World Competitions in which dog/handler teams from around the world compete against each other.
-The first set of classes is an introduction to all the equipment, then all other levels after that progress the dog and handler’s experience in handling more difficult sequences and situations.
