Prairie Dawgs Agility started with Trish’s love for the sport of dog agility. This love of Agility led Trish and Dan Giesbrecht to launch Prairie Dawgs Agility.

At Prairie Dawgs, we seek to provide a positive environment for all people to enjoy Agility with their dogs. We work to channel your dog’s energy into the fun sport of dog agility, focusing on fun, clear communication, and handler-dog partnership. Our small, dedicated team favours steady progress, good-humored camaraderie, and practical skills over intimidation or perfectionism.

Classes use concise, positive instruction, games, and reward-based shaping to build focus, body awareness, and confidence. We introduce tunnels, weave poles, jumps, and contact obstacles at a pace suited to each dog’s temperament and condition. Small class sizes ensure individualized attention; exercises are adapted for puppies, seniors, rescues, and competitors.
